        I recently observed that a Briggs 1.6 gpf toilet (according to legend on tank) at a motel worked exceedingly well. It flushed very quickly and effectively. Would this be the same equipment shown in home-use plumbing stores as Briggs 1.6 gpf (6 litres/f) toilets; do they generally operate as well as the one I used??

          Companies do not make one toilet for commercial use and a different one for residences. If you liked the Briggs at the motel, the same one in your home will work just as well.
