I’m laying ceramic tile on my cement shower floor (using the 2″x2″ tiles) but my problem is, how do I “score” the tile to cut them in half or nip them to the size I need some of them to be for the outside edges and around the drain?? I was told to use a glass cutter, so I bought one (small hand-held) which only has a small wheel cutter on it – I don’t know how it would cut tile or glass for that matter! please help so I can finish my project! thanks

For your tile size you need a tile cutting pliers. It has a cutter wheel on the back to make a score line and then you put the tile between the jaws and when you squeeze, the tile snaps along the line. With larger tiles you can snap them against a straight edge but 2×2 is too small to do that.
