I recently run into a problem with a hand sprayer on a kitchen sink faucet. The sprayer is not used often and the water has become stangnant creating a foul smell. Has anyone else experienced this and what do you suggest as a remedy?

Disassemble the spay attachment and let it soak in diluted bleach.
You should also flush the hose while the head is off.
Personally I would just replace the hose assembly completely
