        I owned a Reliance 501 water heater. Installed on Aug of 1997, a week ago it started to leak. I have recently
        replaced it with a GE water heater. I am in need of Reliance contact information as the water heater guarantee was for 5 years
        and it lasted appx. 4 years. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

          They do not give you a refund, they give you a new heater with a warranty that expires when the old one would have. I assume you bought the new heater at Home Depot. Some HD’s would have taken the Reliance back and exchanged it for a GE since they used to sell Reliance.
