I’m considering changing my present hot water heater (electric) to a “tankless system”.
Anyone out there have one, and what’s your experience with it?
Do you like it, is it more economical and how many family members does it serve?

Yes I install lots of them AND remove a lot of them also

          what’s your experience with it?

Depends on the application and the volume that is needed.

I did a 554 family home that uses a tankless coil that supplies wter constantly and for this we use big boilers.

Do you like it, Yes as trying to keep this much water hot in a storage tank would take thousands of gallons.

is it more economical If the boiler is efficient and compact

          and how
many family members does it serve

Tankless coils I have installed seved over 10,000 people with never a cold water complaint.

You may want to look nto a small copper tpye boiler that is designd stictly for domestic H/W
