we have a new house, three years old , and our basement flooded and now the water pressure is very low.
Before you could do everything at the same time and the pressure remained constant, now we have to do one thing and one thing only just to have enough pressure to get the job done. we have consulted a couple of plumbers and we have done the obvious things and now they suggest us consult a master plumber.

Sorry Beth BUT you didnt give enough information

What caused the flood a broken water line or a blocked up sewer?

Are you on well or city water?

Do you have a booster pump in your basement that was under water during this FLOOD?

            thanks for your reply!
the sump pump pipe broke outside by the foundation, we had a couple of days of bad rain, we got about 6 inches in the basement and it shorted out the pressure switch. we replaced the switch and have adjusted a few times. the pressure is set at 30/50 we also replaced the pressure tank, we had the softner inspected and the well pump seems ok but we are not sure.
            we have no booster pump.
Thanks for any insight you can give us!
