TILE OUTSIDE SHOWER TURNED BLACK AND CANNOT BE CLEANED. REPLACED WITH LINO WITH SAME BLACK RESULTS. COULD IT BE LEAKY SHOWER PAN OR LEAKING GALVANIZED PIPE IN BASEMENT LEADING TO SHOWER?

When you get home today go around the house and make sure that none of your fixtures are in use. After you are positive that everything in the house is not running and/or filling up, go check your water meter. If the meter is still spinning then you know you have a leak somewhere in your plumbing system rather than the drainage system. Chances are it’s your drains. If there was a leak in the pressurized plumbing system it would leak all of the time causing much more noticeable damage. However it’s always wise to cover all of your bases!
