The shower head in my shower stall started dripping this morning for no apparent reason. By the afternoon, a small trickle of water appeared to be coming out of the bottom of the stall. Is it sfae to say that maybe one of the pipes (I think it might be the hot water one) leading to the shower head is leaking? What steps can I take to repair this myself?

S.E. It sounds more like a washer problem. There is only one pipe going to the shower head. Turn the water off and remove the hot water handle and remove the stem and replace the washer and seat (available at most hardware stores or plumbing supply) This should solve your problem. If you have other questions go to our web site and you can email me or use our toll free phone number and I will try and guide you through the repair.

          Good luck,

          Scott
