        when replacing radiators with baseboard heat, is there anything special that has to be done or can you simply remove the radiator and install the baseboard heat by soldering the pipes to the unit?

          Most of it is in the piping. You want to make sure the baseboard lengths are correct for the heat loss of the room. Install a baseboard tee – a 3/4 by 1/8 by 2/3 tee (if you are using 3/4-inch baseboard, other size to match the piping) at the end of the baseboard with an air valve to bleed the air as you most likely have a 2-pipe system.
