Drodenbeck,
There is a pickup tube with a check valve at the bottom of the brine tank that may be plugged. First, disconnect the brine tube at the top of the pickup tube where it goes down into the brine. Manually set the softener for brine draw. If you feel suction at the end of the tube then your machine is working and the pickup tube is clogged. Empty the brine tank, wash out with HOT water, a little dish detergent and a couple of cups of bleach. Pull out and clean/inspect the check valve at the end of the tube. Spray hot water in the check valve and tube. Reassemble and replace salt. Set machine to brine refill. Regenerate manually after machine completes brine refill. Manually set machine for brine draw. You should see flow through the brine tube if you watch closely. If this doesn’t work and your absolutely sure the venturi is not plugged, then it’s likely the valve is kaput. Oh, one more thing, make sure there is power to the unit when your done! Hope this helps
