The ignitor coil on my heater seems to heat up OK, but the fan/gas seems to turn on late in the sequence, after the ignitor has started to cool off. It just barely catches it at times, and the gas ignites. Sometimes it misses completely, and then the fan runs forever with no water being heated. How can I arrange to have the fan/gas come on right in the middle of the ignitor heating sequence?
