My dishwasher works all right, but it leaves a gritty residue in the glasses. How can I fix this? I really appreciate your help. Thank you! and Happy Thanksgiving!

Jan, Have you tried a liquid detergent or another brand? Give this a try and see if results of washing improve. Also try a different rinse aid product as well. You glassware etc should come out squeaky clean. A good starting point would be to contact the manufacturer or handbook for their recommended products. Its like us plumbers, you might try a few before you get one that really impresses you.
