Black pipe

      Home Depot today had only black pipe in some of the pieces I needed. Galvenized was sought. OK to mix the two? Im adding backyard faucets: two where there is one and three (using two Ts) where there are two. ~Frank

      Black pipe wont last as long as galvanized when exposed to water and soil, but youll probably get 15+ years out of it with no problem. If you expect to own this house for longer than that, and dont ever want to replace the pipe, dont put black pipe into a water line outside. Jim
