Bathtub Hot Water Tap Flow

Whenever I turn the Bathtub hot water tap on the water only runs for a few seconds before stopping. All other taps in the house seem fine. Could the tap be faulty or could it be the pump that circulates the hot water ? (Its a Gas fired central heating system)

If the hot water stops coming out of the bathtub faucet while the faucet is still turned ON…And all other hot and cold water faucets in the house will work normally at that time…Then I would suspect something has gone wrong inside that tub faucet. You will probably have to disassemble it for inspection. Dont forget to turn the water OFF to the house before disassembly.
