I have installed a new 33.3 gal John Wood gas water heater in July 1999. There is only enough hot water for one 10 minute shower. The thermostat is set to high. What can I check to get this fixed. Thanks in advance

This could be a broken dip tube. I looked for a John Wood water heater site but didnt find one. Here is a different site that talks about the dip tube problem and how it can cause not enough hot water Maybe you can get the name of the company that makes your heater and look on their web site for similar info.
