I have a Taco pump for my hot water baseboard heating system for my house. It draws 0.7 amps while running. Its 1/25 horsepower. I thought that a 650 watt portable generator would be enough to run this pump in times of power outages here. But I was told of a full load amp or surge upon start up of a pump. Can anyone please tell me what the start up amp draw on this pump would be??? Thanks, Jim
