        please let me know what is causing the noise i hear when i turn on the faucet slowly it is a very loud noise and when i turn it on fast it is a quick sharp sound?

          You need to replace the valve stem washer. It is either loose or broken. When you barely open the valve, high velocity water flows past the washer and causes it to vibrate and cause a moaning sound.
