The cast iron flange is broken where the bolt to connect the toilet bowl fastens on one side. The flange is cast iron and the floor is concrete. What is the recommended way to fasten the bowl without replacing the cast iron flange?

Wayne, I’ve had some luck finding pvc flanges with a thin metal flange on it. I take the metal off the pvc, then use self tapping bits to screw it onto the cast iron flange. Then you have new slots for the flange bolts. I’ve tried alot, this method works. There are repair flanges out there but not all apply. Good luck,,,, Greg
