Hi!
I have a GE Potscrubber GFD1821 that is only about four years old. Recently it has started melting our tupperware and plastic cups. I noticed last night thatfter turning the timer on to start two hours later, that the dishwasher started heating up. I’m thinking there must be a problem with the thermostat? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Nevermind. I fixed it. Timer was bad…A prong was broke off on the contacts inside the timer, which left the heating element on all the time. I had an extra timer that someone gave me and I replaced the contacts.
