Hi – we’re in a serious bind – cant afford a plumber and cant afford these high water bills either!
The bathtub faucet is a Moen and it wont stop leaking no matter what!
We replaced the cartridge and that was a slight help temporarily. But it didnt stop the drip totally.
If we take it apart and mess with it, it sometimes slows the drip.
NOW, there is not a slow drip, but a FAST drip of water coming out.
Can someone help? We’d really appreciate it!

when you replaced the cartridge did you use an original moen part? Sometimes we find if you do not use genuine parts you will have the problem you describe. The only other thing I can think of is you have some debris in faucet body. Flush it out while you have the cartridge out by having someone turn the water on. I hope this is some help.

Moen has a life time warranty. They will ship the part you need if you can give them the model number. It is usally printed on the faucet some where. If you don’t fine it call and ask them. Look on your computer under (www. moen.com). They have an 800 number that you can call and they will send you the part you need if they have it. It’s worth a try. If you don’t find the 800 number go to any store that carries Moen and get it off th back of the box. Good Luck
