Hopefully someone can help me before I have to call a plumber. When I flush my toilet and the tank finishes filling up, there is pipe noise like there is air in the pipes (sounds like a tuba sort of). Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
It sounds like a worn out ballcock inside the toilet. But if its a machine gun type pipe rattle, it could be the ballcock or the cut-off valve below the toilet.
