My water keeps blowing the element, I thought it was the water heater going out so I replaced it (water heater). I got everything hooked up again turned the power on and everything sounded fine, you could hear it heating then when I went to turn the washing machine on after giving the water heater time to warm the water, nothing the water is still cold. What could be the problem?

If you didnt fill the tank before turning the heater ON, the element may have burnt out. Otherwise, I would just suspect a defective thermostat or heating element. But new heaters dont give much trouble so, first recheck to make sure the heater is getting electricity properly.
