Air in cast iron radiators (hydronic)

i have problems with my heating system. The radiators that are the farthest from the furnace are cold. I had installed a new pump last year, and since there is a lot of bubbling noise in the radiators. what is the procedure to remove air from system, there is also a valve at the ceiling level of the supply pipe, should i drain there first ????, and what about the expansion tank,how do i know its pressurised ok ???? Thanks a lot )
