Big noises coming from the pipes every a n hour or so , the noise stops when the water is used like using the sink or flushing the toilets, then the noise is back again. Any suggestions?
        Thank you

It might be your ballcock in your toilet. When it is making the noise, take the lid off and put your hand on top of where the float connects. Sometimes it can sound like a horn. If you have a pressure regulater to reduce water pressure, it may be causing the ballcock to make noise.

So how do you solve the problem?
