Thanks for great home page! I am a low budget, low experienced builder who will be doing my own plumbing. What is the best and cheapest way to test my system in preperation for the inspector (and my own satisfaction)?

You can use water pressure. Cap or plug everything but one vent. Run it ten feet above the rest and fill everything with water. Then check for leaks.
