What is wrong if no water comes out of the faucet. The faucet seems to be working. This happens periodically – in winter and summer. The faucet works just fine, then nothing.

I’m not exactly sure what it is doing so i’ll try to help as i don’t know the brand of faucets which would be helpful.Check the aerator and see if it may be clogging up.Also some cheaper made faucets act strange at times and are better to just be replaced with a good name brand faucet.Washerless faucets are a good choice such as Delta.Hope this helps.

Some faucets, such as American Standard Aquaseal and some Kohler single handle, use the water pressure to open the faucet. If the operating part is sticking then the water will not flow. We would have to know the faucet’s make to figure out how it operates and why it might be erratic.
