        A new home, the water heater is only a year and a half old. Woke up this morning and could not get really hot water. When turning on the hot water faucet only, it still did not get too hot to the touch. The water heater sounded like it was working like normal. What could cause this? Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks.

Thanks.generally only warm water indicates a leakage, either a pipe or relief valve. unless you were simply running out what was left in heater that had quite working because of burnt out element or bad thermo
