How often do pressure vacuum breaker valves have to be replaced? My sprinkler system recently started making a lot of noise (loud vibrations). I suspect that the pressure vacuum breaker valves which are almost 10 years old are worn and are causing the problem. Is this possible or should I look somewhere else for the problem?
