My kitchen sink sprayer stopped working and the water pressure from my faucet decreased. Occassionally, my faucet will sputter and then return to normal pressure. What would cause a simple sink sprayer to quit. The spray holes aren’t plugged and yet I can’t get a drop of water out of it. Does it have anything to do with my faucet?

There is a diverter valve in the faucet and it stops working, depending on the faucet, you may get no water from the spray, no water from the spout, or as in your case, no spray and little water from the spout. Where the diverter is located depends entirely on which faucet it is.
