Summary: Hot water is not being produced when the boiler is solely used for producing hot water. The boiler turns on then switches off after 5 minutes.HW is produced when the central heating is on as well. Background This all began when I switched on the heating for the first time this half of the year. All raidiators were bled but then the next morning – no hot water. My central heating is OLD but worked perfectly until the heating was switched on for the first time in ages. Also, I may have used up all the hot water on the same day as a carried out a number of chores in the house. In the past when all the HW has been used up, the cylinder has to be syphoned and then refilled. Like I said an old system.Any ideas for getting hot water without having to turn on the central heating would be appreciated.ThanksCharles London, Englan
