My son installed a new sink for me and the sink drain keeps leaking. Any trick to installation? Also, when I pour liquid (bleach, vinegar) in my toilet bowl it automatically lowers the water level to the original level. I would like to soak some stains, but this doesn’t allow me to. Any way to turn off adjustment?

You need a sealant between the bowl and the waste, either putty or silicone.
Adjust the water level ?? nope, you might water to try hydrocloric acid on the stained bowl. Two wipes and its gone. WARNING WARNING THE ACID WILL BURN USE RUBBER GLOVES AND EYE PROTECTION, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!!!
