What is black pipe? Is it just regular pipe thats not galvanized? Or is there some kind of coating on it? Thinkin of using some in construction in a BBQ pit but dont want to if its got any kinda nasty coating. Thanks!

It is regular pipe before being galvanized. Sometimes they apply a coating to prevent rusting.: What is black pipe? Is it just regular pipe thats not galvanized?
