Well pump question

We installed a Simer above ground well pump with a deep well conversion three months ago. While trying to install it we found we had a faulty regulater valve and had to have it replaced under waranty. Since then the pump had taken longer each day to shut off until it finaly lost prime. Have you ever heard of problems with simer pumps? Are they a good product to the best of your knowledge? Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
