My water heater is just about 5 yrs old. I noticed it leaking, apparently from the bottom portion. The leaking is considerable. Can it be repair? or does it need to be replaced? Please respond A.S.A.P. Thanks

Please respond A.S.A.P. Thanksleaking hot water heaters are not repaired. make sure its not a fitting leaking and check the elements for leakage. otherwise replace heater

Just a thought, 5 years old? it might be under warrenty, look for the serial # plate and all the info you need, company name, etc will be there. The company can tell by the serial # if it still is. good luck!
