does anyone have any suggestions or trade secrets on how to remove sections of lead packed iron pipe without cutting? i have very limited space to work, i bet all of you know what that is like! so cutting here is not an option! thanks.

If the pipe is in the horizontal position melting the lead out with torch is an option or else drilling the lead out with an electric drill and a 1/4 to 3/8 metal bit. This is the biggest draw back to this method of joining pipes together, they arent ment to come apart easily !!!
