The bolts that are supposed secure the sink to the wall are precisely in line with the hot & cold water pipes (specifically the 13″ air chambers coming off the elbow). How should I resolve this? Install shorter air chambers? Remove them all together? This must be a common problem.

Air Chambers CAN BE moved, JUST make sure they are sized propery.

You could also install a air cushion fitting BUT it has to be accessible

Where ONLINE can I view a variety of air chamber sizes. Most of the local hardware stores don’t carry various sizes of them. Most online pages deal only with water hammer arrestors. I need ’em to be 13″ tall.

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate your help.

You can make one Quite easily. All you need is a small piece of copper tubing 3/4″ dia min 12-14 inches long with a cap on top.

Or buy a commerical shock asorber Chances you may not need one if your pressure is not excessive
