I have good cold water pressure from city supply; however, hot water out of all the same fixtures is dismal. What could be the causes? Could it be undersized piping to supply the hot water heater? Maybe there is corrosion build up in the pipes? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Some moron installers never use a dielectric fitting when connecting ferrous and non ferrous materials thus causing electrolytic action and corrosion at the juncture of the tank connection
Have a Qualified plumber disconnect the C/W supply to the tank and the H/W out and check the female connection for possible blockage
