        I have a Bradford White gas water heater that is vented through
        the wall. The model # is MITW40L5NI0.
        Can you tell me if it is ok ,that is, save & also unharmful to the heater to unplug the cord to the electrical outlet before going away from the house for a week or more? My aim is to stop the vent fan from coming on all the time.

          Why not just lower the setting to “VACATION”
