I build my home in 1990 and plan to
stay here 30 more years. Problem is I used hard copper pipes and have well water which is corroding the pipes and depositing green stains on my sinks. I have installed two phosphate feeders and this has greatly reduced the staining.
My question is, am I doing all I reasonably can do to protect my pipes from deteroriation or should I plan to change the copper to plastic in the near future?

You may want to check out these sites. http://WWW.COPPERKNIGHT.COM and http://WWW.PLUMBINGWHEREHOUSE.COM. If your water has a low ph it may benefit from a acid neutralizer.
