Cold radiators

      My radiators are cold on the top but hot on the bottom.When i try to vent them,no air or water comes out,what can my problem be??

      The water seems to be moving too slowly in a 2-pipe system. Check the circulator action when the boiler is running by placing a thermometer (the sensing end covered by a thick rag or insulation) on the outlet of the boiler and then placing the thermometer a few feet from the boiler on the return pipe. The temperature should not be more than 30F degrees different.

      plugged bleeder or not enough water pressure to raise water to that height.
