      Putrid water coming from electric hot water tank. 1 year old. Cold water ok. Stainless steel boiler water ok.House is on Well water. what can cause the problem?

Stainless steel boiler water ok.House is : on Well water. what can cause the problem?It could be bacteria reacting with the anode creating hydrogen sulfide gas. Smell like rotten eggs? Often the problem can be solved by replacing the magnesium anode with an aluminum one. For more information about this problem visit my website. Hope this helps.
