How do I remove a Moen cartridge that seems to be stuck from my bathtub faucet? I have already removed the retainer clip, and turned the cartridge 1/4 turn. Any suggestions?

If the cartridge actually turned 90 degrees, then a pair of vise grip pliers on the stem should pull it out. If the stem is the only thing that turned then call a plumber since there are at least 4 different core extractors and each has its own special use.
