: We just bought a house with radiators, the boiler pilot is lit, but we dont have heat, are we missing something….I bought such a house not too long ago myself, so I dont claim to be an expert, but I recently had the same problem when I inadvertantly switched off the electrical breaker supplying my furnace room. Check that, as well as the switch, which should be somewhere near the boiler. You could also have a faulty thermostat.Daniel : Thanks, : Leigh

to get heat, you need several things besides the pilot. the control switch has to be on and the circuit breaker also has to be on. The thermostat has to turn on the gas burner, it might also start the circulating pump. If the burner and the pump are operating, then there could be air in the radiators.t : We just bought a house with radiators, the boiler pilot is lit, but we dont have heat, are we missing something….: Thanks, : Leigh
