I have a newly installed sump pump (2 yrs) in my basement. Sometimes there is a foul odor coming from the pump and it seems the only way I can get rid of this smell is when my wife does laundary and uses bleach. Ive tried getting a hose and washing it out as best as I can but it doesnt help. Any ideas on how I can get rid of this smell and what caused it in the first place?
