MemberI used Oatey Regular PVC glue from builders square on 2 and 3 inch DWV PVC that will be covered with concrete soon. Afterwards, I read on the can, Shake or stir before using. Do not use if gelled. I did not shake or stir it, does this mean the glue wont work correctly. Or does the instruction just mean to stir or shake it to see if it has gelled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Don

I used purple primer, not cleaner. The whole shake or stir thing was so upsetting to me that I cut out the rough-in and reinstalled it using different glue. I just knew I couldnt sleep if I did something wrong. I just recieved an email from Oatey, they said the cement should work fine. Mike, thanks again for answering my post. It is rather nice to know some people will try to help others for no profit. Don
