We recently experienced our septic tank (900 gal., with 50 ft. 4 drainfield pipe w/gravel) overflowing and had it pumped without doing anything remedial. Six weeks later, it was full again. This time, we dug down and discovered that tree roots had invaded and clogged the distribution line between tank and drainfield. I had already purchased 24 of Infiltrator drain system for the weekend fix when we discovered the clog, so we replaced distribution line and installed Infiltrator alongside existing drainfield. Everythings working fine except that now we have an insect or worm that surfaces in the toilet bowls every so often. They are approx. 1-1 1/2 inches long, maybe 1/4 wide, and flat on one side and show segmentation on the reverse side. No apparent feet, maybe a mouth or small feelers on one end. what in the world are they ?
