I am a mobile home owner in the Los Angeles area. I need to replace a failing 20 gal, gas, water heater with same or one no taller than 56″ and no wider, (diameter), than 14″. Hoyt used to make one but hard to find now. Any ideas anyone? Thanks…

Hoyt has been out of business for almost 15 years and since the new energy saving regulations went into effect several years ago, most heaters are larger due to the added insulation. You will have to check the various suppliers in your area to see which brands are available and the sizes. A 20 gallon gas heater is going to be a special order in most cases.
