I just moved into a new home and even with the shower control completely counter-clockwise there is not enough hot water coming from the shower head. Can this somehow be adjusted? Other like fixtures in the house do not seem to have this problem.

Yes it can be adjusted. Your best bet would be to call a plumber who is familiar with Pfaucets to abjust it for you. He or she will be able to show you what you need to know about it and whether it is a pressure balanced or limiting stop type of scald protection. It’s worth the price of the service call to be able to get the best use out of your faucet.
