        We have one of the ‘new’ 1.6 gpf toilets that clogs all the time and is an absolute pain. We would like to buy another one, but don’t want to have the same problem. What kind do you recommend?

          Briggs Vacuity model

          I installed one for my mother
          and it has few if any of the
          problems found on these new models.
          It is around $200.

            Rodney, keep in mind that if you buy a cheap toilet, you will have more troubles. All toilets are 1.6 gal. flush in the US. Look at some of the popular name brands ie; Kohler, Briggs, Eljer, Gerber, Crane, etc.
