Pretty much all of the radiators in my central heating system are cold at their bases.

I’ve just moved into the house so I’m not familiar with the history of the system at all suffice to say that I think it is 10-15 years old.

I’ve bled the radiators but to no avail. Is this is a sign of sludge/corrosion build up in the system?

      Any tips gratefully received

Most hot water heating installations in the US after 1960 were baseboard systems. Flat wall radiators are commonly used in European systems. So the question appears to be that a gravity hot water heating system in Europe or GB is circulating hot water slowly to the radiators. This would occur if the high limit was set too low.
